I wish that the guy who hit me on July 29, 2017 wasn’t texting while driving. I was about 7,100 miles into a 10,000 mile bicycle ride of prayer and social compassion around the USA. Had to be helicoptered to a Level 1 trauma center sixty miles away from the accident site. I’m out of commission for 12 more weeks with regards to bicycle riding because of a fracture in my left shoulder blade and a fracture in my right pelvis.
One of the most stupidest things that I saw on the last tour was a guy riding a bike hands free because he was texting on his cellphone.
Umm… is it bad that I’m reading this while riding along? At least I stopped to reply.
