a bit of subject However I have had two none riders tell me my seat position is out of whack. Both seem to think I need to have my leg completely straight on the down stroke and my knees come up too high ??? How can they know more then the veteran bike club members and the guys at the bike shop who help my fit to my bike. 🙂
They can’t.  Ignore them.
Or tell them that if their arms aren’t completely outstretched when they are driving their car then they are sitting too close to the steering wheel, which means that the airbag doesn’t have enough space to deploy properly in the case of a crash.  Then say, “Just a friendly warning!”, and let them mull that over for a while.
One shouldn´t sit too close to the wheel, but having one’s arms (or legs) completely stretched isn’t good either – in case of a collision, the joints should be bent a little, so that the impact doesn’t transfer directly from one bone to another.
<b<Michael, I get the opposite comment, if anything, from non-riders. My seat must be up too high because I can’t put my foot flat on the ground while seated.
The great advantage of Dutch infrastructure: The concrete and steel that protect people from car drivers never, ever suffer from attention deficit disorder.
No — poorly maintained roads are generally the result of insufficient funds in the state budget to fix or maintain them.  In general, then, it shows how much the people will stand for so long as it’s linked to a tax decrease.
No chance Yehuda: If you want to survive, you must pay enough to cover those who pay nothing.
Bikers fate… no matter if with or without motor.
I agree

Avoid passing vehicles on the right.

@Kevin Love – Do the potholes and other signs of neglect give witness to the road maintenance staff ADS?

Meanwhile, in the rest of the world…
