Every mountain biker has jammed his jewels against the stem at least once. It’s part of the christening ritual, along with falling on your side on your first trackstand with clipless pedals.
How would the chain breaking cause him fall to the top tube? If balenced in a track stand wouldn’t the weight placed on the opposing pedal prevent this from happening?
Ouch! I felt that all the way through the fourth wall.
ouch. That hurts. Ouch
I don’t think there’s a guy out there that hasn’t racked himself on the top tube of his bike (unless you’re counting eunuchs).

Been there.
Done that.
Don’t want to do it again.
Twice in the 1960s!
(Teenage Ouch) 🙂
Did the more embarrassing “reverse racking” — tried to lift my rear wheel up onto a curb, hit myself with the top tube instead. :S
I did that once at the beginning of a BMX Race….1st and last crank. Thus began my fetish for inappropriately large chains
But it looks like his cargo bike doesn’t even have a top tube!
