I hate hate hate (and brake for) tailgaters when I drive, but I don’t know why Yehuda’s still so bent out of shape about them if he doesn’t even have a driver’s licence anymore. Unless he means Cat 6 wheelsuckers, in which case I don’t see what cars have to do with them.
Heck, I had a 1-ton dually trying to draft off me yesterday. I know I’m fat, but I ain’t blocking enough wind for that. Took three blocks of gutter riding to get him to take a turn up front.
Actually, when a car close-passes me, i worry much more about the guy who’s tailgating him, because he certainly isn’t watching out along his right side. That tailgater is often trailing behind along the fog line and cannot see far enough around the vehicle in front of him.
Actually it’s the 3rd one I worry about. The first has usually seen me, the second possibly knows I’m there but the third is on his hand held mobile… and doesn’t have a clue. I suppose in the USA given the size of the ‘cars’ the 2nd car is the same thing though.
