That’s because they know deep down that they really aren’t watching out for you.  The standard excuse, “I never saw him/her!”, is actually truer than we realize.

And while the Penny-Farthing on the water bottle was OK, it is too common and overused.  I think either a closeup of the bottom bracket of a classic Schwinn middle-weight (like a 1960s-vintage Traveler, Racer, Breeze, or Speedster) with the welded-in-place kickstand would make a good logo for a place called the “Kickstand Cyclery”; either that or a picture of the ubiquitous Pletscher/ESGE alloy kickstand that got retro-fitted on almost every imported 10-speed during the 1970s bike boom era.  Show it, unmounted, in its folded-up position with the leg horizontal to the ground, and surround the illustration with a circular field with a white/yellow/light tan or other neutral-colored background.

Over the top could be the words “Kickstand Cyclery”, with “Established 2008” and “Shaker Heights, Ohio” at the bottom.  I just wish I knew how to do Photoshop so I could construct a sample image for you.

And why only “Established 2008”?  Wasn’t it Fred’s shop originally?
