    Come on Joe… ! Hardly no driver really want to hit you, and if it is just to prevent their car from damage.
    Anyway, it won’work: They can still check their older E-mails or just play. And what about other persons in the car? Those who are not driving could use a smartphone…

    I have a better idea – If the car detects a phone in use by the driver, it spams the phone continuously until it is turned off – or even automatically disables any phone within the driver’s reach?

      Alternatively, add a “Faraday” aspect to their cages.

      How about blocks all cell options except for calling 911.
