Actually, all of the strips *this year* are dated 2015, and we did run this last year. We created about a dozen strips last year, then stopped. Then decided in late 2015 to go all out and do a year’s worth of strips for Volume 6.
So we’re running all new strips in 2016 that are dated 2015, but really, really are new, except that a few were ‘aired’ in early 2015.
It doesn’t make sense to us either, but the book is looking great, and we’re eight months ahead of schedule!
When we get book #6 in June, will the comics all be dated “2015” or “2016”? And will we be getting “advance viewing”, as it were, of the 2015 comics that were not published online but will appear on the site later on in 2016?
Seems to me that I saw this one last year at this time too…

So now I’m totally confused.

The comics published in the volumes aren’t dated, though the copyright date in the front of the book will read 2015.
And correct: even though the strips are dated 2015, 95% of them were completed in 2016.
