Yehuda Moon works at the Kickstand Cyclery, lives on his bicycle and dreams of a day when everyone does likewise.
The comic strip is about two guys who run a bike shop and the challenges they face in the store and on the road. Yehuda‘s the utilitarian advocate; Joe‘s the go-fast pragmatist. Thistle Gin, a wrench and biking mom, rounds them out.

Tried this in endurance mountain bike racing… not a great idea! (well, a quick way to a painful wake-up!)
On a level road, no distracting traffic, easy rhythmic pace – its easy to get a little spaced-out.
True Alan, only I would rather be riding my Trandem when it happens than a bike!
As a side note: After all I have been through in my existence, I am beginning to have small problems with balance from time to time. Especially when tired. So riding the Tricycle-Tandem is safer for me.
As camber changes throw us around a little bit, I need to stay wide awake and read the road a lot more diligently than on the bike.
Catnaps are a great way to shorten the commuter too!
Doest Yehuda have 9 lives?
Maybe Fenders, the cat often found in his handlebar bag, is watching the road ahead and would warn him by a loud meaow in case of necessity…
We all know how good cat-balance is.
Maybe Y has found a way to tap into it to stay upright?
Just out of curiosity, are Yehuda and Idle still an item?
And, by the way, when did Thistle learn to turn her head completely 180° around? Spooky trick indeed…
180° head turn – maybe she’s a were-owl….
Only like 135° just enough te get one eye to bear behind.
catnaps? or Capnaps? Who can tell?
Capnaps? Is that when Yehuda gets his (Wal)zzzzz? ;-D
