Yehuda Moon works at the Kickstand Cyclery, lives on his bicycle and dreams of a day when everyone does likewise.
The comic strip is about two guys who run a bike shop and the challenges they face in the store and on the road. Yehuda‘s the utilitarian advocate; Joe‘s the go-fast pragmatist. Thistle Gin, a wrench and biking mom, rounds them out.

With me, it’s the opposite. I haven’t been riding much lately because I’m waiting for it to get cooler!
Or riding early and getting home before the heat sets in
no reason not to ride year round with proper attire. better than standing at cold bus stops. happier too.
YEEHA!
FIRST!
,,,errr – sorry – just realised I had the comments turned off….
Actually, my #1 warm weather problem is all the idiots on bikes and then the zombiefied pedestrians. Cars don’t bother me as nearly as much.
OTOH, the cars can kill us. The pedestrians and other cyclists are more than likely just nuisances.
Yehuda… That’s what’s known as a “vicious cycle”
Nooo… this is a vicious cycle: http://bit.ly/HXuglm
Wow! A Chainsaw-driven bike…
I suppose that would stop pedestrians from stepping in front of you!
(At least – they wouldn’t do it twice
You can get the same effect by riding a recumbent without a chain guard. http://www.icetrikes.co/image/medium/chain-ring-guard.jpg

More cyclists, more acceptance, more safety.
I noticed mode hostility from pedestrians towards cyclists as they get in to each other ways.
At which point you’ve now noticed that each traveling group (drivers, cyclists, pedestrians) really believe that they’re the only ones in transit – and if they’re not, then the other two can get the bloody hell out of the way.
Safety in numbers, until most of those numbers go into their winter cycling hybernation…
I find cars get in my way a lot more than I get in theirs.
Ha ha! Yeah! I’d often complain about traffic and people would say “but you ride a bike!”, but yeah, bad traffic can slow me down significantly as I don’t like to squeeze recklessly between cars.
