Yehuda Moon works at the Kickstand Cyclery, lives on his bicycle and dreams of a day when everyone does likewise.
The comic strip is about two guys who run a bike shop and the challenges they face in the store and on the road. Yehuda‘s the utilitarian advocate; Joe‘s the go-fast pragmatist. Thistle Gin, a wrench and biking mom, rounds them out.

Stinky first!
Time to break out the gas mask!
For us cyclists, that smell is particularly onerous as we might be be breathing hard from the ride thus sucking more of the stinky air in
The exhaust question makes me wonder — when they motorpace behind dernies such as in keirin, how do they deal with the exhaust. I’m sure it’s deflected off to one side or another, but how about the build-up inside the velodromes over time?
Just let it go – you don’t have to draft it. Slow down and take time to smell the roses instead!
Cow proverb: “As you pass through life, take the time to stop and eat the roses.”
Ah, fresh air…
Times Square…
You are my wife…
Goodbye city life…
Green Acres we adore…
Nothing in life is free.
you must keep your mouth shut ( like when there are mosquitos , who has not eaten one sometime…?)
Fresh protein!!
shouldn’t draft vehicles at all, let alone trucks. Very dangerous practice. No margin for error, so you’re playing on luck and only luck to ensure that X doesn’t happen today, again, day after day.
Yes. And drafting the garbage truck suggests Yehuda’s far down that dangerous slope.
Cattle trucks are worse in my opinion, urine and faeces smell is hard to overcome.
Been there, done that. Never again (garbage trucks that is–maybe other trucks).
Drafting motor vehicles is dangerous, but trucks aren’t necessarily worse than other vehicles–they can’t stop as quickly. I’m more worried about being in front of a truck than behind.
