Yehuda Moon works at the Kickstand Cyclery, lives on his bicycle and dreams of a day when everyone does likewise.
The comic strip is about two guys who run a bike shop and the challenges they face in the store and on the road. Yehuda‘s the utilitarian advocate; Joe‘s the go-fast pragmatist. Thistle Gin, a wrench and biking mom, rounds them out.

Sandals and Poncho – Ideal for cycling in the wet!
Regimental? I thought the term was “going commando”.
“Regimental” was the description long before the term “commando” had been invented. Definitely dates back to the 18th century.
Regimental goes back to early 18th century British Army. Refers to parade dress as worn by one’s regiment…often including a kilt.
What’s worn under a kilt? Nothing…it all works fine.
Wait until Thursday… they’re predicting 100° + here in Indiana. I hate summer. 6 months of Spring and 6 months of Autumn would be perfect.
Is that dandruff on the ground?
Rainwater, he’s just come into the shop dripping wet.
Probably the best thing to wear in the rain when it’s too warm for a cape is a bathing costume.
My friend plays the bagpipes, and he used to tell me: “you can always tell if a man is going regimental by the dandruff on his shoes.”
Reminds me of the classic Tom Petty tune, “Now I’m free, freeballin’”, or was that free falling?
I think it was free-basing….
Login isn’t working…
As a man who wears skirts every day (rides his bike in one), let me tell you that “commando” is only done by Scots and other barbarians.
And thus Zorba joins the long line of those showing untoward interest in the dress of male Scots.
Actually, I could care less – I just don’t care to emulate, that’s all.
thats a bicycle seat you don’t want to touch
