Yehuda Moon works at the Kickstand Cyclery, lives on his bicycle and dreams of a day when everyone does likewise.
The comic strip is about two guys who run a bike shop and the challenges they face in the store and on the road. Yehuda‘s the utilitarian advocate; Joe‘s the go-fast pragmatist. Thistle Gin, a wrench and biking mom, rounds them out.

Don’t let her hold the football for you to kick Yehuda.
Lucy is the one who pulls away the football. The one who says “You’re weird, sir” is Marcy, and she generally says it to her friend Peppermint Patty, who is the one who refers to Charlie Brown as “Chuck.”
So did they, um… ya know? I wonder if Y took his hat off
No, he didn’t. Check back to friday’s strip.
I’m glad Yehuda knows better than to fall in love with this silly girl. She may be sweet but she’s looking for a drama play, not a relationship.
He doesn’t need to fall in love to do that
Where is Yehuda’s rear rack and its physics defying bag of holding?
Seems to have been replaced by a Front rando bag on this bike Probably too heavy to lift from bike-to-bike by now.
and now for something completely different…

brief summary of the story (what the people say) can be found in the comment section (after putting aside some rubbish, as usual)
Wow! What a guy. And consider his horrible riding position! Pretty amazing.
Mama says, “Stupid is as stupid does.”
Is Chuck Yehuda’s middle name, or is Idle using a Cilla Blackism?
It’s a “Peanuts” reference.
30°? Guess I’m a little slow this morning.
Blonde head movement to & fro???
Idle’s helmet is askew 30 degrees to the side, you can see it in the first frame, the second frame I think is’s the other direction. 30 degrees is a reference to her ill-adjusted helmet that wont stay still on her head.
I always figured Yehuda was gay. He’s just such a loner and free thinker but I guess there are straight guys like that too.
Just because Yehuda has not been shown to be getting more action than a porn star doesn’t necessarily mean that he is gay. I think he is one of those people who, believe it or not, don’t spend every minute of every waking hour having sex, thinking about sex, or trying to find someone to have sex with. They realize that there is a time and a place for everything and that sexual satisfaction is not the sole raison d’être.
He’s definately single-minded. The other gay thing was the retro fashions (but then all these things aren’t exclusively gay anymore.)
I figure that he’s a classic small town nerd guy that’s kinda scruffy and his mind is on his nerdy interests more than anything else. But we’ll see. He is hanging out with this woman who is probably wondering why he’s not like the other guys.

He’s definately single-minded. The other gay-like thing is the retro fashions (but then all these traits aren’t exclusively gay anymore.)

Whoa! I don’t know how all these repeats happened. There was an error posting so I clicked a few more times and then gave up. Later on there are now several of it.
Sorry folks.

How does Idle keep her hair looking so good after pulling the helmet off?
I often ask myself the same thing.
See the 30-degree remark above. She doesn’t have it fitted properly, probably so that it *doesn’t* mess up her hair.
re: ‘How does Idle keep her hair looking so good after pulling the helmet off?’ . . . Answer: The magic of Cartoons!
