So honored to have had the Great Lakes Courier appear at the Kickstand! Thanks Rick and Brian! And it was great to see / meet you the other day signing books. As I said, much as I love the internet, it’s so much nicer to read the flow of comics in print with no CRT, no waiting for the day’s comic to load. I’m re-reading Kickstand History, one print volume at a time.

I hate coupons. They’re a gimmick. I don’t trust stores that offer coupons, because they’re disingenuous. Stores issue coupons in hope that they’d lure customers, but that customers will actually forget the coupons or bring them in after they’ve expired. Otherwise, they’d just lower the prices and make their offers more permanent.

I went to the internet first. Found what I liked, took it to my LBS and begged them to order it in. They did. The next year that style of bike exploded onto the market and the LBS I’d gone to had first crack at the fad (cruiser bikes a decade ago).
