Yehuda Moon works at the Kickstand Cyclery, lives on his bicycle and dreams of a day when everyone does likewise.
The comic strip is about two guys who run a bike shop and the challenges they face in the store and on the road. Yehuda‘s the utilitarian advocate; Joe‘s the go-fast pragmatist. Thistle Gin, a wrench and biking mom, rounds them out.

Amen Brother!
Hallelujah!!!
I don’t know how Guest managed to post at 00:11:10, I didn’t see it at 00:55:49. Otherwise, I wouldn’t have posted my Hallelujah
I’m starting to think about this… We have a Patron Saint of cyclists: Madonna del Ghisallo. We ought to write a hymn for cyclists or a prayer for cyclists. “… deliver us from punctures, pinch-flats, broken spokes and frame corrosion…”
The Madonna del Ghisallo was originally a pre-Roman mountian goddess that protected travellers in her sphere of influence as long as they stopped and gave tribute at her shrine, and that tradition persisted past the 4th century CE. A nobelman who was being attacked by bandits took refuge in the shrine and the bandits respected the shrine and ceased trying to rob him. Thinking that this was a sign from God the nobleman declared Ghisallo a Madonna and finagled the Church to leave the shrine alone, eevntually to have her declared the patron saint of travellers. When the Catholic Church was rearrainging the deck chairs on the Titanic after WWII Ghisallo was moved from general travellers to cyclists…
Well, there is the line from the Gospel of Luke (3rd chapter):
“‘Prepare the way for the Lord, make straight paths for him.
Every valley shall be filled in, every mountain and hill made low.
The crooked roads shall become straight, the rough ways smooth.”
Hallelujah!
Haha
I know I check in here every day, Reigously, but this?
I trust Hymn to have something funny every day!
I hope everybody will give me their Blessing to post these puns…
I bless you my Son…
He hasn’t got a prayer of avoiding an audit …
Second panel: “Is that legal?” “We’ll find out.”
Yehuda, once push comes to shove I think you’re gonna lose this one…..
You mean “He probably won’t have a prayer….”
LOL
Maybe Yehuda should get this Jersey for everyone - http://www.elevengear.us/cotb.html
Sweet jersey. I’ve got to get one.
If goods and/or services are received in exchange for charitable donation, only the portion of the donation in excess of the value of said goods/services can be deducted. For example, if taxpayer donated $100 for a $10 repair, then only $90 is deductible.
I’ve never seen a cycling Jersey with stripes…
Guess I’ll bake a cake with a hacksaw in it for Y….
Lahood is …?
Yes, is.
Ray LaHood, mentioned in this comics several times already.
How far is it from a comics web page to a search web page (like google)?
@Birch Creek: No need to scold.
Better LaHood than LaHaye, which is what I thought until I rememembered the SecTrans. whew!
Here ya go, Kent:

Ray LaHood was my congressman here in central Illinois. The local club would contact him on bike advocacy issues, and he was pretty receptive. I recall him coming to one of our bike club meetings to discuss advocacy and transportation legislation. A very good and reasonable guy.

Watch out Yehuda – In the UK, our Glorious, Puritanically Austere Government is busy closing tax loopholes used by churches.
As it should be.
Now I wish I lived in Cleaveland.
Where’s Cleaveland? Oahio?
