Yehuda Moon works at the Kickstand Cyclery, lives on his bicycle and dreams of a day when everyone does likewise.
The comic strip is about two guys who run a bike shop and the challenges they face in the store and on the road. Yehuda‘s the utilitarian advocate; Joe‘s the go-fast pragmatist. Thistle Gin, a wrench and biking mom, rounds them out.

Nice Save!
Yehuda does seem to have some feelings for Idle there. He wouldn’t have backed down like that for just anyone else.
It’s the racks…
CAKE…
It’s springtime, and love is in the air.
Apology accepted, captain.
Stu looks really tall today. Did his recumbent brake down?
It seems that Yehuda has a new girlfriend?
Our neighbor’s line “We met in prison” always gets the party quiet (he was a guard, she a treatment coordinator).
Do I smell a bicycle built for two script?
Its called a “meet cute” in Hollywood.
Yeah, I think they need to ride tandem sometime! Question is, who’s the captain and who the stoker?
Uhh…..the preferred terms these days are “Captain” and “Rear Admiral”. And unless you’ve ridden a tandem with an uncooperative person in the rear saddle, you have no idea just how much control the person in back can exert.
And for the record — she could share my tandem anyday.
Mention techie topics and the forum postings swell to bursting point. But here we are on lurve and we have way fewer posts. Does this suggest a degree of geekiness amongst cyclists? Or will later posts prove me wrong? And as my younger son pointed out to me: “What’s wrong with geekhood?”
Only the Ladies can answer the question about “geekhood.”
Surely that’s a sexist remark?
@GG: – How long have you been reading this strip? This is THE website for cycling geeks imho…
Also – In answer to your question – ‘nothing’
It’s OK, Rick knows if he wants to incite debate he just has to draw a strip where she tells him he should wear a helmet…
I just think that when people are intelligent enough they don’t find sex as fascinating for social discussion as other humans might. Doesn’t mean they have no animal urges and pleasures, but that they’re capable of “getting it up” for other topics too. this may not be about sex, per se, but lets face it, what else is romance really for?
Sex is pleasant, but at my age (late ’50s) I miss romance a lot more than sex. Holding hands, long walks together, maybe a soft and gentle kiss, or just being in one another’s company–that’s what appeals to me most. The lady who captured my heart doesn’t even know how I feel about her, but that won’t keep me from enjoying myself immensely when I have dinner with her (and other friends) this evening. Just talking and laughing with her is enough to cast a glow over my entire week.
Hey Yeduda is that a pencil in your pocket or….
