In my case I needed something that works year round eve if the weather turns ugly and the snow is tricky. Since my commute is 20km (or more) every day and 6 km of this is with a trailer - I would find it hard to use a cargo-bike. Not many of them around in January I can tell you ;). I also saw a squirrel trying to get into it! He almost succeeded - he tore a big hole in the side in his attempts. Took seconds too (about 2030s)!
