Yehuda Moon works at the Kickstand Cyclery, lives on his bicycle and dreams of a day when everyone does likewise.
The comic strip is about two guys who run a bike shop and the challenges they face in the store and on the road. Yehuda‘s the utilitarian advocate; Joe‘s the go-fast pragmatist. Thistle Gin, a wrench and biking mom, rounds them out.

Joe’s gonna burn out here. I’ve burned out at my job; I know the feeling. No matter how well the SHOP is doing, the shop ultimately is only as good as the people running it. Run Joe into the ground, run the shop into the ground.
Yehuda needs to take it down a notch here IMHO…
Yehuda must be the salesperson at the shop while Joe is the mechanic? If that’s true then the same day service doesn’t affect Yehuda at all. He should grab a wrench and pick up the slack.
or maybe..they should hire a second mechanic. new character interactions…hmmm
remember the rocks in the handlebar bag? I think Joe just got out pranked! The best ones are when the don’t even realize it.
I just got my YM book in the mail today, and guess what? I got a sneak preview of strips that haven’t been on the Web yet! Of course, it’s only two days’ worth, so I suppose my glibness will be gone by then. Anyway, here’s what happens… (haha).
Yeah, the Kickstand should hire me!
See: http://www.yellowjersey.org/rant.html for story about same day service.
