Yehuda Moon works at the Kickstand Cyclery, lives on his bicycle and dreams of a day when everyone does likewise.
The comic strip is about two guys who run a bike shop and the challenges they face in the store and on the road. Yehuda‘s the utilitarian advocate; Joe‘s the go-fast pragmatist. Thistle Gin, a wrench and biking mom, rounds them out.

this makes me think of my crash. I didn’t see it coming and I was knocked unconscious.
Yehuda NEEDS A HELMET!!!!!
It’s a car problem, why ask cyclists to fix it with a styrofoam hat?
How about when your back wheel goes out on black ice and smack your head on the pavement? Is that a car problem, too?
Because it can save your life and has no negative effects?
It wasn’t a car’s fault when my front break snapped off and went between the spokes and I got three stitches on my temple that a helmet could have prevented.
