Yehuda Moon works at the Kickstand Cyclery, lives on his bicycle and dreams of a day when everyone does likewise.
The comic strip is about two guys who run a bike shop and the challenges they face in the store and on the road. Yehuda‘s the utilitarian advocate; Joe‘s the go-fast pragmatist. Thistle Gin, a wrench and biking mom, rounds them out.

Hot, sweaty woman is sexy.
Or, the simple trick is to take your trip slowly so you don’t sweat to start with.
Exactly what I was thinking, Martin. Who says that every time we do anything physical we have to be dressed funny & sweating?
Me, I hate exercise with a passion and will not do it willingly for any length of time. You will not catch me on a bicycle exercising. Not going to happen. But to get from point A to point B it sure feels good to go fast and to power up that hill. Am not fond of being passed by bicycles either. The lady is correct in that there is a difference between cycling to exercise and cycling to commute and you will never catch this daily commuter exercising to sweat.
Heh. It’s funny, actually, because people (especially sports and health researchers) actually define exercise as separate from physical activity.
It’s only exercise if it’s done with the primary goal of improving health. So commuting by bike doesn’t quite count.
