Yehuda Moon works at the Kickstand Cyclery, lives on his bicycle and dreams of a day when everyone does likewise.
The comic strip is about two guys who run a bike shop and the challenges they face in the store and on the road. Yehuda‘s the utilitarian advocate; Joe‘s the go-fast pragmatist. Thistle Gin, a wrench and biking mom, rounds them out.

whoa, this happened to me too. although one of the wings was broken so all i could do was put it in a safer place to die peacefully.
you left it to suffer a slow agonizing death? or for a cat to come find it and “play” with it? You could have been merciful.
It’s a decision you have to make, and hurt/dead critters are part of life “on the road.”
BTW, if you move a turtle, always move it to the side of the road for which it was headed when you found it, or it will just turn around and cross the road again after you leave. The females are looking for a proper place to lay their eggs in the spring. Also, if it’s a snapping turtle, the only safe way to pick it up is by the tail–and hold it away from your legs, too!!
Mlo, would you like it if someone found you with a broken leg and left you to “die peacefully” instead of calling an ambulance? Really? What are veterinarians for anyway???
