Yehuda Moon works at the Kickstand Cyclery, lives on his bicycle and dreams of a day when everyone does likewise.
The comic strip is about two guys who run a bike shop and the challenges they face in the store and on the road. Yehuda‘s the utilitarian advocate; Joe‘s the go-fast pragmatist. Thistle Gin, a wrench and biking mom, rounds them out.

I had a cop in NYC tell me I couldn’t ride on the sidewalk, though I was just sitting on my bike and rolling at walking speed. Dead tired.
I think drivers feel protected by their cars and I would love to force somebody back into reality like that. I wouldn’t want to lean in and reach for the keys though..
I’ve had a cop in Houston Tx bleep the sirens at me before saying over the loudspeaker, “Get it on the sidewalk son.”
I’ve read of a situation in Berlin on a bridge once, where some car driver had an argument with a bike messenger. Apparently the car driver then deliberately drove over the bike (thereby destroying it..). A couple more messengers were at the scene .. they stopped him, took his keys and threw it off the bridge into the river!
^ Holy crap i woulda beat the !$#@ out of that driver. Good thing the messengers were there!
you sir are my hero
This, good sir, is pure gold. I approve. If only you could do this to the police and not face any reprocussions…..
Looks like there were repercussions after all …
