Yehuda Moon works at the Kickstand Cyclery, lives on his bicycle and dreams of a day when everyone does likewise.
The comic strip is about two guys who run a bike shop and the challenges they face in the store and on the road. Yehuda‘s the utilitarian advocate; Joe‘s the go-fast pragmatist. Thistle Gin, a wrench and biking mom, rounds them out.

I had a wild turkey run along side me for about 100 feet as I rode along a MUP near one of the busiest intersections in town.
I had no idea there were wild turkeys in town!
I have a black helmet with red accents, and a certain red-winged blackbird on Highway 2 attacked it every time I went by (twice a day) thinking it was a competing bird.
This happened nearly every day for two months. Clearly the helmet was a good buy.
Here in NM I had a pack of coyotes running with me one night! There were about 12 of them and me. They ran alongside the Bosque bike path with me for about one mile.
Lots of deer around the Nature Center at Shaker Lakes, (which this panel looks like). I had one almost run right into me this summer. Nice to look at, but dumb as a box of rocks.
I have seen 2 mountain lions from my road bike. I have also seen plenty of rattle snakes from my MTB.
