Yehuda Moon works at the Kickstand Cyclery, lives on his bicycle and dreams of a day when everyone does likewise.
The comic strip is about two guys who run a bike shop and the challenges they face in the store and on the road. Yehuda‘s the utilitarian advocate; Joe‘s the go-fast pragmatist. Thistle Gin, a wrench and biking mom, rounds them out.

This is alternately the best and most annoying part of winter riding: always feeling awkward when stopping in at a store or bank.
I also got several dirty looks from little old ladies in Buicks when I pulled up alongside them at stoplights wearing a balaclave or ski mask.
But the best was gettign paged to help someone at work as i was leaving, all suited up and carrying my helmet.
On my way out I stopped by the customer and said, “yes m’am, can I help you?” I totally forgot I was wearing a mask. Other people were laughing about her hysterical scream for days…
