Yehuda Moon works at the Kickstand Cyclery, lives on his bicycle and dreams of a day when everyone does likewise.
The comic strip is about two guys who run a bike shop and the challenges they face in the store and on the road. Yehuda‘s the utilitarian advocate; Joe‘s the go-fast pragmatist. Thistle Gin, a wrench and biking mom, rounds them out.

(slightly off topic…)
John, what are winters like where you ride? I live just south of Cleveland and this coming winter I plan on using my bike as my only form of transport and was wondering if you (or anyone else) had advice for riding in the snow.
check out bikewinter.org for tips on winter riding. icebike.com might also be helpful, but as a completely unbiased co-chair of chicago’s upcoming BikeWinter, i had to give it a plug
Get a ski helmet. They block the wind and cold making winter riding SO much more pleasant.
get a compass…..head south
Well that was refreshing. I remember having to try to drag my knackered bike home with a broken arm on one side and a busted shoulder on the other. The adrenalin ran out as I was passing a church ajoined to a nunnery, as everyone was leaving after a service, and when I asked for a bit of assistance, about a hundred people pushed past me giving me dirty looks, and just one couple very kindly gave me a lift home, after checking I was not drunk.
I’m very grateful for the lift home, but to this day, I hold most Christians in contempt.
It took about 6 weeks to regain use of the broken arm and about 3 months for the shoulder to be usable.
Genau, ich warte auch schon ganz sehnsüchtig auf den ersten Schnee
Just catching up with some of the as yet unread (by me) strips and found this.
Perfect sentiment from the Becapped One! I just love waking up, seeing snow on the ground, getting my early 90′s, nil suspension, steel framed MTB from the garage and riding to work through the snow on knobblies.
Never underestimate the power of One Wheel Drive.
