I found this store (www.villycustoms.com) and all I do now is call and order new parts every few months, just to change up the colors and keep it cool
But it is still a million times cheaper than a car!

I’ve been commuting for 4 years now and each year my number of bike roundtrips has increased. This year I’m going for 200!
Having a bunch of used bikes in my stable helps save on tire wear, but I still end up sinking some bucks on parts. At least a bike doesn’t eat a bale of hay each day too!

I ended up commuting by bicycle out of necessity, and saved more than 10 thuosand bucks in my first year (that’s car payment, insurance, fuel, maintenance, and associated costs for the car that I didn’t have to pay). Of course I spent 2 grand on bikes for me and the wife, and assorted accessories, but still saved 8 grand and lost weight to boot. Just wish my mom could understand that I don’t see ‘not having a car’ as a terrible hardship…

I don’t have much of a choice. The bus fare went up too many times and I can’t afford it anymore. I do enjoy biking, but I sure wish it had been more of a “voluntary” choice.

I cross the Golden Gate Bridge everyday, so my daily commute ends up costing $10 ($5 for gas and $5 for the toll). I would be poor if I didn’t ride my bicycle every so often.

Kids are out of school now! I am riding 4 days a week and 1 night a week to school. It is in the 90′s and it still feels better than driving to work. If I didn’t have to pick up kids from ex on Fridays I would dump the car in heartbeat!

I sold my car last year and it has been one of the best things I’ve ever done. Now everywhere I go is by bike, rain or shine (or snow for that matter). I love it!

With the price of gas hitting almost $5.00 a gallon here in the O.C. I am up to commuting 3 days a week on the road bike. Just with that I am saving almost 30 bucks a week. With that kind of money I have no problem paying a little more for better equipment on the bike!
