Yehuda Moon works at the Kickstand Cyclery, lives on his bicycle and dreams of a day when everyone does likewise.
The comic strip is about two guys who run a bike shop and the challenges they face in the store and on the road. Yehuda‘s the utilitarian advocate; Joe‘s the go-fast pragmatist. Thistle Gin, a wrench and biking mom, rounds them out.

Northern Ohio snow storms… What fun
This makes me thankful I never ride HAVE to ride in the snow: we never get it here in the bay area (C.A). I do have a “snowbike” with a K-trak on it up in Tahoe and it’s fun to ride, but SLOW…
This particular comic is so reminescent of Bill Waterson (Calvin & Hobbes) that I wonder if you were inspired by it…

Smith and Watterson are both residents of NE Ohio. It’s hard not to be inspired by the snow out there!
But, alas the snowman isn’t eating another, or being dismembered in someway. More likely Yehuda would have been turned into a perfect bicycling snow man and they would have built a snow car about to t-bone him.
!
I’ve actually done this, cross country in Sussex, UK, riding ten miles to my mothers for Christmas dinner. The middle frame is what I looked like – about 2 inches of snow settled up the front of me.
It took about 2 hours for my stomach to warm up to room temperature afterwards. I think all the blood withdrew to my core. I’m not convinced I would have made it if I stopped generating my own heat through pedalling!
