Yehuda Moon works at the Kickstand Cyclery, lives on his bicycle and dreams of a day when everyone does likewise.
The comic strip is about two guys who run a bike shop and the challenges they face in the store and on the road. Yehuda‘s the utilitarian advocate; Joe‘s the go-fast pragmatist. Thistle Gin, a wrench and biking mom, rounds them out.

Looks like Yehuda had a long night…
I should have said a LONGEST night… drat.
I think he’s just been in the shop’s basement work area, fixing bikes. Thistle and Joe probably would prefer him to be down there, rather than upstairs trying to impart his brand of Yehuda-wisdom on the customers.
This is what the apocalypse looks like Yehuda! The Mayan conspiracists were right!
I love this – so true. Tomorrow (Saturday) is going to be a busy day in the shop, I can feel it.
Thistle is wearing pink today.

If you’re in retail, this is what you pray for. Maybe someone won’t get laid off ten days from now.
“Gotta make hay while the sun shines”
Merrrrrrrrrrry Christmas to all.. and to all a good ride!!!!!
Happy Solstice everyone! May the coming year bring blessings and joy. I’m solo but if I had pagan community and family today would be the day to feast and party and celebrate the sunrise. On this day Pagans would light bonfires all night to help the sun recover and rise again. I just leave the “christmas” lights on all night. So for me it’s a quiet day but all the same, blessings on all of us who survived the mayan apocalypse! (I think the calendar designer did not)
Yes – Goddess bless you Yolanda, and everyone! Today is the actual start date of the age of Aquarius, according to my Astrological friends.
Merry Yule! It’s 1300 CST now, so since I’m still typing the predicted end of the world did not arrive on schedule (Noon local somewhere in the Yucatan peninsula). Because of time zones and all that the beginning of the “End” should have been sometime between 1230 and 1300 CST. So now I’m going to usher at Dallas’ longest standing public pagan ritual the SolstiCelebration tonight. May your Yule Log burn bright and the chocolate one be good.
Just found some salad dressing at the back of the fridge, with a use by date of 21st December 2012.
Yes – it was mayannaise . . . .
Don’t do it!!!
its just startin to get ripe…. go for it!!!
I got it troiker, very good!
Lettuce be grateful that civilisation hasn’t been reduced to a pile of sand-wich I never believed anyway….but ter-minal prophecies seem quite common. Tom a To-ronto resident I now, wasn’t worried, he’s as cool as a cucumber, but in Monterrey Jack was in a right pickle! Still, the fact that we aren’t toast brought a rye smile to my face.
that’s bad….both the dressing and the pun.
and PBo — did you not carrot all for our feelings?
Well, congratulations to you all! You’ve survived the end of the world. Sadly, many people did die in the last 24 hours, but we did not. For us, today is the start of a brand new world! Now, remember, a lot of us will bring our old problems along to the old world so lets try and be patient while everyone unpacks and settles in. Maybe in this new world we’ll figure out a better way to negotiate our differences.
@Yolanda – Death is over-rated, I tried it for two minutes and returned to the far more interesting life…
I just wish that I hadn’t lost my eagerness to play my guitar. I have to practise from a sense of duty now instead of a love for the instrument
Yeah, death is a bummer, don’t try it folks…
At least I still have my Bicycles – Current weather is monsoon-like though so I think I will wimp-out and have my evening meal. Happy Sunday folks…
