Yehuda Moon works at the Kickstand Cyclery, lives on his bicycle and dreams of a day when everyone does likewise.
The comic strip is about two guys who run a bike shop and the challenges they face in the store and on the road. Yehuda‘s the utilitarian advocate; Joe‘s the go-fast pragmatist. Thistle Gin, a wrench and biking mom, rounds them out.

Late for yesterday means first for today? And having been in business for myself and as a partner with someone else, this comic brought back memories.
I’ll vote for both quicker turn around and realistic expectations… Oh, sorry I used the v-word. I hope this damn election is over quick.
Friday sounds good
So it’s ready on Friday, and then the guy doesn’t show up to get the bike until Tuesday…..
Like – Just like the people who would campaign for us to prepare a bike for them ahead of the queue we had in hand, then leave town or not turn up when appointed, leaving us with a ‘special’ bike that nobody else wanted and we had to use for spare parts – a good job a charity shop uses fewer expensive parts and time is ‘free’ (only it’s not really as that time could have been used getting a sale with another bike…
)
btw – the first ‘Like’ was a ‘Like’
well if the shop can’t do it for me quickly, I might as well learn how to do it myself! Actually the only thing I have paid a shop for in the last couple of years is to replace a spoke, I could have done it myself and I wouldn’t have had my bike in the shop for days!!!!
i finally found a shop that offers me jit-repairs. get it back the same day and even get a replacement bike to get to work. but thats more of a special service for lucky me. such a progress .. its like having my car repaired!
Don’t shout too much about it, or that service won’t be available for long!
Monday Monday, so good to me,
Monday Monday, it was all I hoped it would be
Oh Monday morning, Monday morning couldn’t guarantee
That Monday evening you would still be here with me.

Hey Pops I just wanted to let ya know today is Tuesday.
Pops thinks it’s Monday,
but Tuesday’s just as bad
Wednesday’s worse
and Thursday’s also sad…
Well. Good thing about the blues is that however “sad” the lyrics can be, it can make you feel good anyway..

… I pick up the bike at Friday
)
and Saturday I’ll ride all day…
Like – A lot!
Both Birch’s comments!
Like – its all over the media on the R hand side of the pond too….
Will it be another hanging chad event?
D’oh!
- that should have been just after K’tesh using the V-word.
What I meant to put after Tencon’s “Like – A lot!” was “Me too!”
Shame about the missing delete facility…..
You’re right, so….
Tuesday, afternoon,
I’m just beginning to see, now I’m on my way.
It doesn’t matter to me, chasing the clouds away.
Something, calls to me,
The trees are drawing me near, I’ve got to find out why?
Those gentle voices I hear, explain it all with a sigh.

Now that’s an earworm I’ll be happy to listen to today.
(Worked as an election officer yesterday so had no opportunity to read YM… just getting to it now.)
If I could have guaranteed getting the last post today, I would have placed this by the Stones:
Don’t question why she needs to be so free,
She’ll tell you it’s the only way to be; she just can’t be chained
To a life where nothings gained and nothings lost – at such a cost:
Goodbye, ruby tuesday
Who could hang a name on you?
When you change with every new day, still I’m gonna miss you…
- or even:
Maybe I shall meet him Sunday, maybe Monday, maybe not
Still I’m sure to meet him one day, maybe Tuesday will be my good news day…
Has to be one of the weirdest rhymes around….
Fall in the Midwest? It will be done later today because everyone else is waiting until the day before springtime.
