I'm the same way. both sets of keys of different halves of a separating/detachable keyring. I normally just carry the half with house, office, and bike keys as well as my Metro card and word badge on it.

The ring with car keys is often lost in pockets of pants worn days ago and can take a while to find when needed.

Just checked and discovered that if you google "lordosis" most of what you get is sites using the term to mean hyperlordosis. A reasonable amount of lower back lordosis is normal and desirable - hyperlordosis is too much of a good thing.

Hmm - looking at their spinal curvatures (especially Yehuda's) I wouldn't be surprised if they suffer from lumbar pain later.

My ICE Trice QNT promotes a lovely lordosis.....

You've got a point there, K'Tesh, the arm does prevent us from determining one way or the other if the rider has mammary glands — but for the record, a sloping downtube doesn't necessarily indicate a "girl's" bike any more. Lots of the so-called 'comfort bikes' are designed with a sloping downtube to make it easier to put a foot down at stops.

A guy on the Chicago Critical Mass email list told his story of becoming car free. He was riding for most trips, then one day he went to the city parking lot where his car was. He could not find it, then eventually found out 3 months later that it had been towed as abandonded and recycled. He has not bought a replacement car yet.

I actually know someone who was in a similar situation. OK, he already had a recumbent, so cycling minded isn't too far off. But he didn't cycle to work, as it was too far in his mind. Then he lost the keys of his old car. Getting new ones was expensive, and took a while. Since then he cycles to work, feeling much better. He has since bought a Quest, for the rainy commutes.
