Yehuda Moon works at the Kickstand Cyclery, lives on his bicycle and dreams of a day when everyone does likewise.
The comic strip is about two guys who run a bike shop and the challenges they face in the store and on the road. Yehuda‘s the utilitarian advocate; Joe‘s the go-fast pragmatist. Thistle Gin, a wrench and biking mom, rounds them out.

Around and Around we go…
I won’t get to work that way…
but I have to admit stopping to listen sometimes to the local high school band cadences that put to shame anything we did back in the day.
I’ve got a song I ain’t got no melody
How’m I gonna sing it with my friends…
Will it go round in circles
Will it fly high like a bird up in the sky…

Wow, I haven’t had that song in my head in years, nice ear worm!

I have always loved that song!
Why is Yehuda riding around in circles by the high school when there’s a real track he could cycle on?

Because the music isn’t there, it’s at this one. Heck i’d go around in circles all day if the music kept playing.
Because, even at “speed”, Yehuda would ground the high-side pedal.
i wish I had a marching band i could go past, that kind of music gets me going in the morning.
I have never heard a marching band that I could tolerate, much less enjoy. It’s like trying to teach a pig to sing…
Again, as always, a treble clef. As a low brass player, I feel like an unrecognized, unrepresented, even oppressed minority. I’m hoping someday music will be represented in popular art with a bass clef.
(Yes, this is the silliest complaint you’ll ever get on your strip
