It would be better if car traffic was limited to off-peak hours, their drivers were made to wear helmets (and all the other stuff that is mandatory in race cars).
Let’s see how they feel about that …

Maybe some “helpful” person like Yehuda could suggest other ideas to include in the proposal, like banning “turbocharged derailleurs?” Sort of like the clueless legislator I read about a few years back who wanted to ban “high-velocity magazines” and was surprised when her pro-gun colleagues enthusiastically backed her proposal. (Unfortunately someone tipped her off before she could bring it to a vote and make an even bigger fool of herself.)
