It looks like the strips are published before midnight Pacific Time now!

We’re working on scheduling posts (especially important once I’m in India in December)… but there are a few issues we need to resolve first.

Interestingly, today’s comic came up for me briefly at around 1830 PDT. I tried to comment, but couldn’t – then the comic disappeared to be replaced with yesterday’s!

But I did say then: Cool idea about the service station placards!

Whoops! In absence of an edit or delete function, I meant to say that today’s comic came up briefly at around 1830 PDT *YESTERDAY*!

Also – A lot of forums have these icons to select, I wonder if the new software can offer the same? (As not everybody know all these new-fangled things!)

I have so often thought of doing this… except without paying. It’s work especially well on the small advertising space on the back of the pump’s trigger.

Another missing item btw – how do we delete a comment we made when we want to edit an error or decide it is unsuitable etc?

Abbadon – the Yellow Tandem looks similar to my Trandem!

(I caught ‘The Goodies’ on Utube yesterday and found where I got the name ‘Trandem’ from – They called their three-seat tandem a Trandem!) :-)

That’s why I eat beef. It serves 2 purposes:
    1) reduces cow farts which leads to global warming
    2) does them a favor by putting them out of their misery – cows are both dumb & ugly…

I’ll become a cannibal then, for the same reason: humans fart too much and are dumb and ugly :D

Heard that you get 20X the protein from eating the soy it takes to make the equivalent amount of beef from.

+2! I hate non-scrolling objects on web pages, even when they aren’t monstrosities that take up nearly a third of my screen like this one does. When a page scrolls, EVERYTHING on it ought to scroll!

I’m glad to see an email notification feature has been added to the comments, though I hope it applies to ALL comments posted from that point forward, at least for that day, and not just for that particular comment’s followups. I’m also looking forward to seeing a Delete function added, so I can resume my practice of posting a blank comment every morning and then deleting it immediately, just to turn on the email notifications for that day. Unless, of course, there’s a way to turn on email notifications permanently for all comments on all days, which would be the best way of doing it.

Hey, I haven’t been NEARLY pedantic enough today, so I’ll contribute that petroleum is only minutely related to dinosaurs. Rather, it’s the phytoplankton that settled to the seafloor over billenia (you like that? Just made it up.), eventually becoming compressed and altered with heat and pressure into liquid petroleum and other products. Dinosaurs? Not so much.

That analysis assumes belief in ancient phytoplankton. I mean, there are plenty of popular movies featuring dinosaurs. Photosynthesizing microscopic organisms? Maybe that works for those who own microscopes.

Everything is working well here but it’s different. That must be bad. Why can’t everything just be unformatted text on an elephant gray background. Or, better yet, glowing letters on a green screen?

Working well? You can’t delete comments. You can’t click a “Like” button on comments with which you agree. You can’t have all new comments automatically emailed to you within a few seconds after they’re posted (including new comments people might make on strips that have been in the archives for three or four years). You can’t read more than a few lines of text at a time because of that stupid top banner that won’t move. You can’t use the PgUp or PgDn keys because they scroll an area bigger than the visible screen and some lines disappear either off the bottom or under that same stupid banner at the top. Nearly all the things I used to do here are not “working well.” They’re not even working badly. They’re not working AT ALL. So far I’ve seen no improvements to the way the site used to work, merely a loss of functionality. I expected a new comment system that would do everything the old one did, plus maybe more, on the same old web page we had before. I did NOT expect both the web page and the comments to be replaced with inferior substitutes, but that’s what has happened.

*steals this comic’s idea and looks for a local print shop to hatch a similar scheme!*

Who’s Yehuda Moon?

Yehuda Moon works at the Kickstand Cyclery, lives on his bicycle and dreams of a day when everyone does likewise.

The comic strip is about two guys who run a bike shop and the challenges they face in the store and on the road. Yehuda‘s the utilitarian advocate; Joe‘s the go-fast pragmatist. Thistle Gin, a wrench and biking mom, rounds them out.
